Why block paving on a footpath?
On pedestrian surfaces, block paving offers the best balance of appearance, durability and safety. A well-designed paved footpath is slip-resistant, drains water well and keeps its looks for decades – unlike asphalt, which softens in the summer heat and ages badly under the intense Costa del Sol sun.

On expansive clay or weak soils a thicker base and, where needed, a geotextile are required. In the inland comarcas with occasional light frosts (Ronda, Antequera) we take particular care that no water is trapped in the base.
Accessibility
- 2 % cross-fall – no ponding, yet no slip hazard.
- Dropped-kerb crossings – for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Even, regular surface – joints create no trip hazard.
- Slip-resistant finish – paver types suitable even when wet.
For gardens, entrances and walkways
We work in private gardens, along the entrances of residents' communities and on public footpaths across the province: Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Rincón de la Victoria and more. Pavers can be matched by colour and format to the existing paving or the building façade. Note that work on public land requires municipal authorisation (minor works licence or prior notification at the town hall).
